Fafa is a magical island with white sandy beaches and excellent snorkelling located just 7 km from Nuku'alofa. It a 15 minute boat trip from the Nuku'alofa Harbour. The boat service departs daily at 11am and returns at 4pm. Fafa is located between Atata and Pangaimotu Islands and a bush walk takes about 20 minutes or you can walk around the island in 30 minutes.

Spend the day on beautiful Fafa Island and enjoy lazing on the white sandy beach, swimming in the crystal clear turquoise lagoon and snorkelling among the coral reefs. Optional snorkelling trip to Malinoa Island is available at additional TOP$6.00. The price includes your round trip transfers by boat and lunch at the Fafa Resort Restaurant. FAFA ISLAND RESORT 8 Superior fale bungalows and 5 deluxe fale bungalows located on Fafa Island which is only a 20 minute boat trip from Nuku'alofa towne, however, feels like you are light years away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Laze away the day on a white sandy beach with excellent swimming and snorkelling. The bungalows built in traditional Tongan style feature king size or 2 single beds, ceiling fans and private shower and toilet. The outdoor shower is situated in your own private garden with hot water. The superior fale's also have an extra room with single or bunk bed. Each fale has a veranda featuring table and chairs and your own hammock. The deluxe fale's are just a few steps from the waters edge with unobstructed views of the ocean and maximum privacy as they are set far apart from each other.. They are built in traditional Tongan building style with natural materials (palm poles, wooden shingles, coconut thatch, coconut timber floor). The fales have high ceilings and a big bed platform with king size beds, cotton linen and a mosquito net, a sitting area, refrigerator and ceiling fans. The bathroom is semi open with the shower in a fenced private garden. The deluxe fale's also have a separate room with 2 extra beds. The Resort also features a restaurant, bar, gift shop and library. Complimentary snorkelling equipment and free use of the twice daily motor sailer to Nuku'alofa. Wind surfers and hobie cats are available for hire. Snorkelling trips are available to Makah'a Reef and Malinoa Island. Honeymooners will receive a bottle of Australian Champagne and plenty of flowers upon arrival.

The first night includes round trip transfers via motorboat from Tangatapu (from Nuku'alofa Harbour), accommodation and government taxes. Your extra night includes accommodation and tax only.
